AN EXTREMELY RARE ROSSINI CIMELIA Very rare first edition of the full score of Rossini's successful opera in the French version in French and printed below in Italian. No copy in bookauction records and for us only two further copies traceable in trade since 1950. The edition was published in 1821, 3 years before the first performance in Paris on October 26, 1824. The price is printed as 60f. and was corrected by hand to 80f. on the title page. This is therefore a copy of the first edition, which was sold at the price of the title edition of 80f. - The premiere took place in Rome in 1816 and soon became one of the most successful operas in the world. Kein Exemplar in bookauction records und für uns nur zwei weitere Exemplare im Handel seit 1950 nachweisbar. Die Ausgabe erschien bereits 1821, 3 Jahre vor der Pariser Erstaufführung am 26. Oktober 1824. Der Preis ist mit 60f. eingedruckt und wurde handschriftlich auf 80f. auf dem Titel korrigiert. Daher handelt es sich um ein Exemplar der Erstausgabe, die zum Preis der Titelauflage mit dem Preis von 80f. verkauft wurde.- Die UA fand 1816 in Rom statt und wurde bald eine der erfolgreichsten Opern weltweit.
