VERY ATTRACTIVE ALBUMLEAF OF ONE OF HIS MOST FAMOUS OPERAS Three bars from his famous fairy-tale opera "Königskinder," 1st act, [EHWV 1910] for the birthday of Baroness König-Warthausen on 13.9. 1909. - In the summer months of 1908 and 1809, Humperdinck used his Boppard castle as a refuge for the reworking of the "Königskinder." In December 1910 the premiere took place at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and became his second world success.
