HIS AUTOGRAPHS ARE VERY RARE Quote after Albrecht v. Haller: "Mach deinen Raupenstand, und einen Tropfen Zeit, / den nicht zu deinem Zweck, den nicht zur Ewigkeit." translated: "Make your caterpillar stand, and a drop of time, / that not to your purpose, that not to eternity." Hiller signs as "Herzogl. Curländischer Kapellmeister." On the reverse a poem inscription by the merchant Franz Samuel Straphinus, Görlitz 1785.
