The note quotation comes from Lehar's operetta "Die blaue Mazur", "with its Polish coloring proves once again his unusual artistic versatility" (Czech). The photograph was taken at the Theater an der Wien on the occasion of the premiere (1920) of the operetta "Die blaue Mazur". The snapshot shows Franz Lehar in the circle of the most famous operetta singers in Vienna at that time: Hubert Marischka, Betty Fischer, Louise Kartousch and Josef König.
